Kurt
Thompson of KDT Construction Inc. has built a great reputation
of honesty and integrity. He contributes much of his success
to his team of craftsmen, subcontractors, and suppliers. Together
they create homes of quality and distinction.
Kurt is one of those rare builders that actually work on the
job site. This "hands on" approach, and three
decades of construction experience, insures that
every detail is completed to the home owners specifications.

Having
built over 50 houses in Kayenta, and many others in
the surrounding area, Kurt has accumulated a wealth
of experience, giving him the ability, and the knowledge,
to build any style of home.
Kurt is currently involved in the Southern Utah Home
Builders Association as the immediate past President
and the 2005 Parade of Homes chairman. He also represents
Southern Utah on the HBA State Board of Directors.

Several
years ago Kurt changed his building philosophy. He wanted
to build homes that were more energy efficient, stronger,
quieter, and more resistant to termites, and mold.
He wanted to build the best house possible. To achieve this,
he had to change the way he was building. He quit framing
with wood and switched to Polysteel (an insulated
concrete form) for the exterior walls, and
metal for the interior framing. Kurt continues
to search for new innovative ways to improve the quality of
the homes he builds.
